  • 1 Pound Shark Fillets (cleaned with MAGGI® Citrus Wash and cut into serving size pieces)
  • 2 Packets MAGGI® Season-Up Fish (10g)
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon MAGGI® Green Seasoning Original
  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs (beaten in a medium bowl)
  • 3 Cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cup Warm Water
  • 3 Cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • 1.In a bowl, season shark with 1 packet of MAGGI® Season Up Fish, garlic and MAGGI® Green Seasoning. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes (for best results marinate overnight.
  • 2.In a medium bowl combine 1½ cups of flour and remaining MAGGI® Season Up Fish. Set aside.
  • 3.Coat seasoned shark in the flour mixture, then the beaten egg and finally in the flour mixture again, until all the shark is coated.
  • 4.Fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. Drain and set aside.
  • 5.In a medium bowl, mix 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt.
  • 6.Add enough water to make a soft dough. Knead for about 10 minutes until dough is smooth and soft. Cover, and leave to rest for ½ hour.
  • 7.Cut dough into eight pieces and form into balls. Roll balls out until about ¼ inch thick.
  • 8.Fry in hot oil, turning once, until golden brown. Drain and set aside.
  • 9.Serve shark in bake with toppings of choice.
