  • 1 Pound Shrimp, cleaned
  • 1 Package MAGGI® Season-Up Ginger Powdered Seasoning (10g)
  • 1 Cup Cornstarch
  • 3 Cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 Ounces Thai Sweet Chili Sauce (1/2 cup)
  • 3 Teaspoons Tabasco Sauce (1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  • 1.Heat oil in heavy bottom pot or deep fryer to 350˚F (180˚C)
  • 2.Season shrimp with Maggi Season Up Ginger. Coat seasoned shrimp in the cornstarch.
  • 3.When oil is hot shake off excess cornstarch and fry shrimp until plump and firm about 2 minutes. Remove and place onto a paper towel lined plate.

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 4.In a small mixing bowl, stir together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce and tabasco sauce and set aside.
  • 5.Toss the shrimp in bang bang sauce and serve on a bed of lettuce or topped with chives.
